• Then, we meet either at your home or the Heart of the Home showroom to discuss details including cabinet style, wood species, and finish.
• Together, we look at product samples, catalogues, and specific design publications. We listen carefully and help you develop your ideas while coming to understand your goals, choices, options and preferences.
• If we both feel that we can fulfill your needs the process proceeds.

A high quality remodel requires a design that matches your needs and desires, quality products and a quality installation. A quality installation requires a contractor who has both first-hand knowledge of cabinetry and countertop installation and is careful and precise, as this is a precise process. To locate a quality contractor:

• Contact your friends who've experienced a remodel project and ask them for recommendations.
• Try to get a few names on your list.
• Check the contractors' references and, if possible, see their work. OR
• Call us and we will refer you to contractors who provide high quality installation at an honest price.

We take precise measurements of the space for your new cabinetry. Using computer-generated perspectives and showroom samples, we help you visualize your finished project. We strive to provide designs that are:

• Before signing a contract, we review your project's design and details.
• We provide you a precise price quote for your cabinetry, and/or countertop(s), and/or hardware.
• At this point you decide whether or not to proceed.
• Should you choose not to proceed, but desire a complete set of your project's CAD drawings, we will provide these to you for a fee consistent with the size and complexity of your project.

• When you order cabinetry and/or countertops from Heart of the Home, there is no design fee.
• We work with you to revise any final design details until all aspects of the project are perfect for you. We also provide you with crucial information about construction techniques, design rules, functional requirements and product specifications.
• After you sign the contract, we provide you and your contractor with the final set of detailed CAD drawings. These drawings
• Guarantee the exact product selection and specifications, and
• Can be used 'as is' for building permits, if required.
• We then communicate directly with the cabinet and/or countertop manufacturer to guarantee the accuracy of the order and confirm the delivery date.
• At this time you provide us a 50% deposit. The balance is due when your products are delivered.

• We work closely with your contractor during each of your products' installations.
• We visit your jobsite regularly and as required.
• We do not stop working on your project until you are completely satisfied with the results.
